Over the past several months, I have been feeling the need for a new way to reconnect with the podcast and the Sisterhood of Limitless Living community.
A series of interesting events happened in early July that began this new chapter. I went on vacation in the central coast of beautiful Santa Barbara county. I very suddenly and abruptly lost my full-time consulting job. And, I had been reading the book, “Effortless”. It was one of those life changing books that are a rare but special experience. The book changed my perspective and renewed my focus on working on decisions with the least resistance, and moving directly into the next step of my desires for the podcast, my consulting business and other endeavors.
As we approached 5,000 downloads and completed over 2 years of the podcast, I realized that I was beginning to feel tired. I was feeling a heaviness, and that the energy of my work with the podcast was beginning to change.
I have enjoyed working on these episodes (close to 100 of them) on living and thriving in the autoimmune community, yet with the beginning of my new nonprofit organization last year, the Autoimmune Community Institute, the work was beginning to feel duplicated. The work of serving women to live with self-efficacy with autoimmune conditions is something that the nonprofit would also be able to accomplish.
I realized that we needed to reach a broader audience with this podcast. I realized that multicultural women could connect to the principles of limitless living and thriving, with or without a chronic illness.
I was beginning to find that I had more in common with women who were moving into the direction of their dreams, regardless of disability or chronic illness. I found that our thoughts and actions are far more powerful than circumstances of the past or present moment. I am excited to continue to live in this space and to connect with others who believe in a brighter vision for their lives, the world, and the future.
This is what the new season of the podcast and community Is about. Limitless living through the power of following our desired lives. I hope you will join us on the amazing adventure.
